Things to know for your holiday at the Adults-only Hotel Rundegg in Merano

Adults only:

We love children, but have nevertheless decided to only accept guests over the age of 16. Castel Rundegg is a small house where many a guest wants to "hide" from everyday life, seek peace and quiet and possibly take a cure in our medical spa. Our entire structure would therefore be "grotty boring" for children and we cannot meet the needs of families. We will be happy to provide you with tips for great family hotels in the area.

 

Arrival/departure:

The rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 p.m. on your day of arrival, please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8 pm. We ask you to vacate your room by 10 a.m. on your day of departure. With Checkout expires the free access to the SPA area. Late Checkout possible on further enquiry, depending on availability and with extra charge of EUR 15,00/h starting from 12 pm.

 

Cancellations, early departure:

  • No cancellation costs are charged up to 6 days prior to arrival
  • We charge 100% of the booking amount within 5 days prior to arrival
  • We will charge the full booking amount in the case of early departure or no-shows.

Booking cancellations have to be in written form.

To avoid the penalities we inform you that we have a travel insurance.

 

Dogs:

Your small dog up to 10 kg is welcome in our hotel. Please inform us in advance if you would like to bring your dog because they are allowed in a limited number of rooms. We charge a daily fee of € 20.00 for your dog (without food) and ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area, sunbathing areas/castle garden and throughout the wellness facilities and should be always kept on leash.

 

Non-smoking:

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, suites and rooms. In case of non-compliance we charge EUR 200,- for the special final cleaning. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace/balcony and outdoor area.

 

Discount for 3rd person:

With 2 paying adults in the same room we give the following discount on the list price: - 20%

 

Surcharges:

Half board: € 50,00

Room service: € 19,00

Usueful informations:

  • The binding reservation is valid from receipt of a valid credit card or receipt of the deposit.
  • All our rooms are equipped with minibar, color TV, direct dial telephone, safe and hair dryer.
  • Bathrobes, spa towels and flip-flops are available for free and at your disposal during your stay.
  • Please do not come to the restaurant in shorts, sandals and robe.
  • A sign of courtesy is to switch off the mobile phone during meals and in the beauty SPA.
  • The Beauty-SPA colleagues are available daily from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm.
  • To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we recommend that you book the beauty treatments before you arrive.
  • The indoor pool is at your disposal from 8 am to 7 pm; the sauna / steam bath from 3 pm (summer from 4 pm) to 7 pm.

 

Settling the hotel bill:

  • Cost-effective with any of the standard bank cards (debit cards). With amounts over € 1,000, we kindly ask you to make a partial payment on the day before, since many debit cards have a daily limit of € 1,000 abroad.
  • With MasterCard, American Express or VISA.
  • Bank cheque
  • Cash payments are possible up to € 5,000.00
