WineFestival & Gourmet

Every year, Gourmet’s International of Meran organise plenty of events under the patronage of Merano WineFestival & Gourmet. From 31 October to 9 November 2009 the health resorts lures visitors with excellent national and international wines and fine culinary delights. The festival is an important encounter for experts, gourmets and food lovers from around the world.

Merano WineFestival & Gourmet combines all elite events that awake our five senses: the GourmetArena at Piazza Terme hosts the events GourmetHotelCollection and Locande del Gusto from 31 October to 3 November, where luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants present their exquisite cuisine and the chefs offer a taste of their splendid dishes in combination with fantastic wines.

On 4 November, the same GourmetArena hosts the event Merano Wine & Jazz from 7 to 12 p.m.

In the Pavillon des Fleurs of the Kurhaus the event bio&dynamica takes places on 6 November, where biologically and biodynamically created products are on offer.

For the 18th time, the Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria takes place at the Kurhaus from 7 to 9 November 2009, with fine wines from Italy and the whole world and home-made Italian delicacies enchant the visitors. While the GourmetArena at Piazza Terme hosts the event CookingXWine, with show cooking of renowned star cooks. And there’s even a beer tasting event called Beer Passion!
